Digital Linen from Telio

We found these beautiful linens over 5 years ago from Telio, a fabric wholesaler out of Canada. We continue to reorder when we can and increase our selection as our customers love these linens. They can be machine washed and dryed.

We often think of linen only for the summer, but these prints are so beautiful they carry right into the Texas fall! Our three newest prints have just arrived.

We also received some of our favorites that have been on backorder.

These prints are still in stock too.

Linen is back for the Summer

The official start of Summer might we a few weeks away, but with the temperatures we have been experiencing it’s time to bring out the linen. We have been a big fan of linen for all of our 45 years in business. We love 100% linen and now that we have linen and rayon combinations we have some fabrics with less wrinkle and more drape.

Printed linen has always been a struggle to find and we had to go all the way to Canada to find a distributor. We are now able to have some of the most beautiful digitally printed linens. These fabrics are machine wash and machine dry on low. They are not a wrinkled mess when they come out of the dryer so the pressing time in minimal.

We use simple patterns to show off the fabric. Take a look at what we have made so far this Spring.

You might already have these patterns. If you decide on a pattern, but don’t already own it. We will be glad to help you figure yardage. Just let us know. Our linen is 54″ wide.

We have lots of other great digital linen choices.

Digital Printed Linen

We have always loved to sew with linen, particularly printed linen. Over the years we have found very little printed linen available to the home sewing market. We had locked in a source out of Canada and were in great supply until guess what – covid. We are not sure when our salesman will be able to come and show us new fabrics so until then let us show you what we have.

Here we go again with the Gallery Tunic pattern. It’s such a nice pattern to use with our printed linen. It doesn’t have too many seam details to take away from the beautiful prints.

The pattern calls for 3 1/4 yards of 45″ wide because the sleeves won’t fit side by side, but our printed linen is 54″ so you will need a length for the front, a length for the back and a sleeve length + a little for shrinkage when you pre-wash. You know your finished length, but my educated guess would be 2 1/4 yards.
