April 2022 – Bluebonnets Time

It’s Texas Bluebonnet Season!

If you’ve ever lived in Texas, or if you’ve been shopping online at Creations for a while, you will know that spring is Bluebonnet and wildflower season in Texas. They are so popular with our customers and visitors to the shop that we try to keep bluebonnet fabrics in stock year round, but as with all Texas wildflowers, they seem to show up in abundance in the shop at this time of year. So, here are some of our favorite new bluebonnet fabrics as well as some of our classic ever-popular bluebonnet fabrics for you (and the FabShopHop April bunny) to enjoy hopping through. Bluebonnet Season is almost here in Texas

In March and April of each year, we are blessed with an abundance of bluebonnets along the Texas highways. Some years they are more beautiful than others. The same could be said of the bluebonnet fabrics that are available each year. This is a good year!

See our newest collection from Riley Blake as well as other classics from Moda, Timeless Treasures, and Robert Kaufman.

Spring Time in Texas = Bluebonnets

We all look forward to seeing our beautiful bluebonnets and fields of mixed wildflowers during Spring in Texas. As quilters and Texans, we all probably “need” a bluebonnet quilt to bring out each Spring. Enjoy our current selection of bluebonnet prints.

Dreamscapes from Ira Kennedy for Moda Fabrics

We are excited to receive our newest group of bluebonnet fabrics. It’s always a signal that Spring can’t be too far behind.

Ira Kennedy is an artist from the Llano area of Texas. This is not his first venture into fabric design, but it is his first line with Moda. Seems fitting they should get together.

Dreamscapes panel is 24″ x 42″ and features the artwork of Ira Kennedy, a Texas artist, from the Llano area.

Even if you aren’t a panel person, you might just find a bluebonnet print or two from the coordinates below that will tempt you.
