Sew Simple
Looking for a quick sew? Why not try sewing a garment. A quilt can take quite a while and you can finish a garment in a matter of hours. We feature the same patterns many times over as they are so different with different fabrics.
These are two of our favorite patterns.
The knit top uses Lark Tee from Grainline Gear. It has multiple sizes and different necklines and sleeve lengths. The sizes run 0 – 18. We made a 12.
Our knit is 55″ so for the long sleeve version the yardage is 1 3/4 up to size 10 and 1 7/8 up to size 18.
The Little Somethin’ Jacket is our all time favorite. This unlined unstructed jacket is just right for tossing over a top when the weather gets cool. Ours is made from Lana Bollito wool/rayon, but we have also made it from Bali Rayon for a lighter feel.
We made the long jacket and long sleeves. Lana Bollito is wider than the yardage chart. We made size 12 and used 2 1/4yds. For size 16 – 24 purchase 3yds.
