Male Northern Cardinal cotton sateen panel

This approximately 17″ square Male Northern Cardinal panel is printed on a wonderful, soft 100% cotton sateen. The cotton sateen fabric provides a rich, detailed image.

This Male Northern Cardinal was photographed by Sharon Hull Dinsmore in Wimberley, Texas. The Northern Cardinal is common and beloved throughout the central eastern United States in both suburban neighborhoods and in the countryside. The male’s bright red plumage and perky crest makes him easy to spot and identify. The duller brown and orange Female Northern Cardinal is equally well loved. They are thought to be monogamous and it is endearing to watch a papa Northern Cardinal help raise the young brood.

Sharon digitally enhances each of her photographs to create an image that looks more like a painting than a photograph. This Male Northern Cardinal fabric panel is part of the Birds of Texas Series of fabric panels from Artful Lenscapes.
