Free Spirit Designers – Kathy Doughty and Monika Forsberg

Free Spirit is known for bringing contemporary designers to the forefront of our industry. They are eager to work with designers who have different perspectives on fabric design. Both of these featured designers fit that mold!

Kathy Doughty lives in Australia and loves to work with large prints in her designs. We have some of her newest designs from her Earth Made collection.

If you aren’t familiar with Kathy’s work, we want to share her book, Mixing Elements which is a great source for working with large prints. We have also included designs a previous collection.

We have carried several of Monika Forsberg’s collections. Her last two lines for Free Spirit are Homeward and Endless Summer. Monika is a Swedish born illustrator living in London. The fabric industry truly is an international collection of great designers.
