Newest fabric collections

We are beginning to see fabrics arrive on a more regular basis. We have found many of the groups to be just a few pieces with coordinates. We want to share some of our newest arrivals.

Poppies from Lewis & Irene. This small company is based in England with roots as a family owed business. They always have some interesting prints.

The Blue Muse from Micheal Miller was irresistable to us because not only of the cat print, but also the beautiful combinations of blues, teals, whites and yellows.

We couldn’t leave out Alexaner Henry. They are such an ecclectic company with unusual designs. They are never any coordiated groups, just great prints. Fabrics arrive when they arrive so we never know, but we are always glad to have them.

William Reue is a new designer for Free Spirit Fabrics. He is an architect and artist living in New York City so you can definitley see this influence in his prints. There are some great colors and look like fun to work with.

A Little Bit Shorter Tall Tree

This paper foundation pattern has been around for several years, but this might be the year you make this darling wall hanging. We are offering a kit for the wall hanging version that is approx 17″ x 41″. It’s just the right size for a door or narrow wall.

If you have lots of scraps, you might just want the pattern, which includes tissue paper for two tree quilts. Our kit has the pattern and fabric to make one quilt. The fabrics in our kit are the ones shown in the picture.

Once your tree is finished, why not make some ornaments. It could be as simple as a way to show off some fun buttons, or maybe make free standing lace on your embroidery machine.
