Ombre Sky Fabric

We love these ombre fabrics. The color changes selvedge to selvedge. Ombre fabrics can be a little intimidating, so we are presenting two super simple table runner kits that will get you started.

Each kit contains the Villa Rosa pattern Fruit Salad as well as the fabric to complete the top including the backing and binding. You get to have the fun of playing with the amazing colors. The pattern is super simple and uses just squares and rectangles. After you have it cut, start putting the pieces up on your design wall. You’ll have a great time arranging the colors.

Want to see some more of these beautifl ombre fabrics?

If you want to combine your own colors, just order 1/2yd of one piece and 3/4yd of another. The larger piece will be used as the backing fabric. You will need one yard to back your runner with a seam in the middle. If you just need the pattern, we have it. If you want other ideas for these fabrics, check out the Ombre Quilts book.

ABC XYZ by Stacy Iest Hsu from Moda

Stacy Iest Hsu has done some great kids collections for Moda. Her artwork is contemporary and stylized so it’s very appealing to young parents.

This collection has a cute alphabet panel and some great coordinates.

This panel will be great for a gender neutral baby quilt. With no pink or blue as the predominate color, this will make a great quilt for any baby.

What we particulary love about it is the size. The panel is approximately 36″ x 42″ so it is a finished quilt when you add the backing, batting, quilt it and bind it. No need to add borders to this one!

Rainbows and Leopards

Josephine Kimberling is a new designer for us. The actual name of this group is Dreamscape, but Rainbows and Leopards seems to fit. This is the first collection by Josephine for us. Everyone who has seen it agrees it will be fun to work with. Who couldn’t appreciate rainbows and leopards in the same piece of fabric. Hope you like it too.
