A Ghastlie Getaway

Do you know the Ghastlies? The bizarre family is the creation of Philp De Leon for Alexander Henry fabrics.

The Ghastlies have been entertaining us for years with new adventures. This collections features their travel plans as the pandemic eases.

The Alexander Henry company actually tried to retire the Ghastlies several years ago, but they came to their senses and the Ghastlies are back. Enjoy!

This picture shows the fabric as it runs across selvedge to selvedge.

If you purchase at least a yard, you will get a full repeat so you don’t cut off part of a design.

Looking for some of the retired prints? These are the ones we still have.

Uvalde Strong…how can we help?

We have prayed about how we could help this devestated community and then the Quilts of Grace group in Uvalde reached out for help with quilts and fabric. If you are moved to help, you can do it one of two ways. Use this information and send your quilts directly to Diana at the address shown. If you would rather, you can bring your quilts to Creations and we will take care of all the charges to get your quilts to Uvalde.

We will put the name of the quilter and the city it came from with each quilt. We hope you will feel moved to help as we are.

We will be going thru the “Creations” stash of quilts to find those that would be right to send along with yardage of fabric for their group to continue to make more quilts.

Jungle Safari Panel

Need a quick baby quilt? The new Jungle Safari panel from Michael Miller will be just the thing. The “bright pastel” colors and all the cute animals make this panel irrestistable.

This adorable panel is 36″ x 44″ so it’s
it’s the perfect size for a quick baby quilt.

All you need to add is 1 1/4yds for the backing
and about 1/2yd for the binding.

You will want to quilt this one yourself. Just dust
off that walking foot.

The coordinating prints are so cute that they can stand on their own!

Fourteen on Point

We thought this pattern would be great for the “solids” from Marcia Derse’s collection, Palette. It takes just 14 fat quarters, and 1/2yd for the inner border. We used 1 3/4yd for both the outer border and binding. (Note: We cut our inner border 2 1/2″ and our outer border 4 1/2″ and this fabric allows for those cuts.)

If our selection of fabrics, doesn’t fit your color scheme, here are our in stock colors of Palette.
