Read MoreWhen we find a pattern we love to make, we make that quilt many times over. Cut the Cake Hexies is one of those patterns. It’s easy to make and a great quilt to feature a collection of fabrics. This time, we chose to use reproduction prints.
Our Hexie Quilt measures 58″ x 74″ and includes the fabrics as shown. It features prints from Jo Morton, Kansas Troubles and Betsy Chutchian.
It also uses the Creative Grids Hexagon Trim Tool and Creative Grids 60 Degree ruler.
Our kit includes the pattern and all fabrics including the binding to complete the quilt top.

This digital print will make a beautiful wall hanging just by stretching it over foam core board and hanging it on the wall. The things you can do with masking tape, foam core board and 20 minutes!
The words are familiar and comforting while the colors are calm and soothing.
Although there are just three coordinates, they are all lovely. The all over floral of green, teal and aqua is such a pleasing combination of colors. The smaller print with the words tucked in would be the best pillowcase ever while the allover vine is so calming!
