Longhorns from Quilting Treasures

This panel features the artwork of Kathleen McElwaine, a Texas watercolor artist. We love her style and are excited to offer this panel and the coordinates.

There are 14 different portraits of longhorns in each panel. Six of the portraits are approximately 10″ x 12″ and 8 are approximately 7″ x 7″.

It’s hard to see how great these pieces are so we have included a few close ups below.

Here are just three of the images on the panel. Aren’t they great!

These are the coordinates that go with the panel.

If you missed seeing our original pieces from Kathleen, we have included them below. These are digital prints of her original artwork. Each panel is approximately 8″ x 8″ (with the exception of the longhorn panel) with plenty of white background.

Homemade Salsa from Moda Fabrics

Little Somethin’ Jacket and Lana Bollito

I can’t remember when we have found a better match between a pattern and a fabric. The simple unlined styling of Little Somethin’ Jacket works perfectly with Lana Bollito’s wool and rayon blend. The fabric drapes like a sweater and since the back side is the same as the front, it’s great for an unlined jacket.

This is the perfect project for that instant gratification we all need. It can easily be made in just several evenings of stitching.

The Little Somethin’ Jacket is one of our all time favorite patterns. We have made it many times in Bali Rayons for a lightweight jacket.

This winter we discovered how great it is from Lana Bollito, our wool/rayon blend.

Lana Bollito is 56″ wide so to make this jacket:

Sizes: 8 – 14 You will need 2 2/3yds
Sizes: 16 – 24 You will need 3 yards

Check out these great colors. Lana Bollito is a wool and rayon blend that should be dry cleaned as their is considerable shrinkage.
