Brielle Garden from QT Fabrics

These digitally printed fabrics are so soft and calming. It’s a great relief after so many fabrics seem to shout at us for attention. Bet you agree. (We added a Moda Grunge to the mix….it’s just the right shade of milky taupe to go with these prints.)

Snowy Weather Flannel from Free Spirit

We might not see much of the “snowy” part, but these are some cute contemporary flannels that kids will love. The deer, birds, and even antlers are very familiar to our area of Texas.

Our Rag-a-Muffin quilt is a cinch to make. The instructions tell you exactly what to do and the Rag Snips will help you clip all those seam allowances. Once it’s all clipped, just toss it in the washer and dryer and you have a Rag-a-Muffin finished.

If you prefer more “baby” colors, you might like one of these two Rag-a-Muffin kits.

D is for Dream from Moda Fabrics

We just loved this contemporary line for babies. It’s nice to see those soft colors that include more than just variations of grey.

These first prints are the quilting cotton that Moda is known for.

This group needed to have a flannel option and Moda did it. Yeah! They do a great flannel so that’s another plus.

Fall Melody Flannel from Moda

Fall flannels from Moda are almost a certainty. Holly Taylor designs some great prints and Moda puts them on great fabric. What could be better? We, of course, will be doing our Pieces of Eight quilt kit and feature it in another newsletter, but we wanted to share these beautiful fabrics so you can get started on your own quilt.

The pre-cut 5″ and 10″ squares make it easy to get started.

Fall = Halloween and Fun!

With Fall fast approaching, Halloween isn’t far behind. We have some quick projects and fun fabrics to get you ready.

You have plenty of time to use our kit to make the Cloud Nine Halloween quilt. Choose the kit, or just the pattern if you have a collection of Halloween prints. Too much? Then just hang the Ghostly Greetings panel and call it a finished project.

If Steampunk is your thing, we have a precious panel featuring the owl and cat. There is also an embroidery CD if machine embroidery is your love. (I stitched them and it was such fun….big project, but fun!)

Want a little handwork? How about our Happy Halloween tea towel embroidery, or our Halloween witch.

We have pre-cuts and fabrics to go with the Ghostly Greetings Panel.

If machine embroidery is your thing, you might love these Steampunk characters. To do the applique version shown here, you will need a machine that has at least an 8″ x 12″ hoop size. There are a total of 12 desgins on the CD in addition to the two large applique designs. The cat and owl are also included in embroidery only. CD includes the following formats: dst, exp, hus, jef, pes, shv, vip, vp3.

Check out the coordinating fabrics. There is also a panel with the owl and cat if you aren’t interested in the embroidery CD.

Need a little relaxing handwork? Try one of these.
