The 2009 Hop has come and gone, but you can start planning for next year. The details from 2009 are shown below to give you an idea of what the hop is all about, but first next year's dates...

The 2010 hop will be April 15, 16, 17, and 18!

The hours will be -
Thursday: 9am - 8 pm
Friday: 9am - 8 pm
Saturday: 9am - 8 pm
Sunday: 10am - 4pm

Here's how the Bluebonnet Patchwork Trail Shop Hop typically works...
(please note: these are the details from the 2009 hop, some details may change for the next hop)

There are 12 quilt shops on our hop. (The Shop Hop stores and their websites are listed at the end of this page. ) Pick up a "Trail Ticket" at the first shop you visit. Have your trail ticket stamped at each shop and turn it in at the last shop.

A completed ticket will get your name entered for the Grand Prize as well as 12 other great prizes:

• The Grand Prize is a Great Bag of Gift Certificates and Merchandise - total value over $1500.
• There are also 12 other merchandise bags valued at over $300.
  

Block Challenge
Each year, during the hop, we sponsor a Block Challenge where participants create and submit a block using our challenge fabric. In January, the challenge fabric, is available at each participating store and online. (Our 2009 Challenge fabric is shown to the right.) Blocks must be submitted by March 31st to a participating shop in order to be entered into the Block Challenge and be eligible for the prizes.

All submitted blocks are displayed in the Shop Hop stores throughout the 4 days of the hop. All blocks become the property of the Bluebonnet Patchwork Trail Shop Hop and will be donated to a charitable cause after the hop.

Block Challenge Prizes
We offer great prizes for winners in EACH of 4 categories:  Pieced Blocks, Applique Blocks, Combination Blocks, and Embellished & 3 Dimensional Blocks. 

The Grand Prize, chosen from all the categories, will receive a Fabric Basket valued at over $300.00.

1st place in Each category will receive a Fabric Bundle valued at over $150.00.

2nd place in Each category will receive a Fabric Bundle valued at over $100.00.

3rd place in Each category will receive a Fabric Bundle valued at over $50.00.
